Stress and Sex

Stress does not only affect our sleep patterns, eating habits and your organs, but if you ignore it, you might notice that you have lost your libido soon.

In the times when we have too much to do in so little time, and when we have family and work problems, stress is working in our body continuously, and while it originally triggered a flight or flight response, we can neither fight nor escape from our problems, so we have no ways to release the tension. There are several ways that we try to let it out like extra sleep, overeating or eating less, but none of these are really effective.

The best way would be to exercise as much as you can, even if it is just a half hour before or after work can be enough to help your body to get rid of stress and also lets it recharge itself during the night. There is no need to go to a gym for a workout, though, you can also go swimming or do yoga, or anything that gets your whole body to move.

One of the most common sources of stress is time management, especially because we do not have the same level of energy at any time of the day. If you feel more alive in the afternoon, then deal with your tasks that time of the day. However, if you are tired by then, or if you are the typical morning person, then do everything as early as you can.

Learn to let go of the negative happenings of the day and focus on the positive ones. It might be hard to learn, but if you keep on concentrating on the negative side of things, then you will no longer be able to enjoy sex with your partner after a while.
